NexusCompress Privacy Policy

NexusCompress (“we”, “our”, “the tool”) is a free media toolkit at https://compress.funadventure.ae/, operated by Fun Adventure Media Studio. This policy explains how information is handled when you use NexusCompress.
1. Image processing — no uploads
Your images and documents are not uploaded to our servers for processing. Compression, conversion, PDF tools, ID photo studio, redaction, and similar features run in your web browser using JavaScript, Web Workers, WebAssembly, and canvas APIs. Files remain on your device unless you choose to download the results.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to:
- Remember your preferences (for example theme choice) in local storage
- Measure traffic and how the tool is used
- Deliver and personalize advertising
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.
3. Third-party vendors — advertising (Google AdSense)
We use third-party vendors, including Google, to serve advertisements when you visit NexusCompress.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this website.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

4. Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, general location, device type). Analytics data is processed by Google according to the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Error monitoring (Sentry)
We use Sentry to capture application errors (for example failed scripts or unexpected exceptions) so we can fix bugs. Sentry is configured not to send default personally identifying information. Error reports may include technical details such as browser type, page URL, and stack traces. Your uploaded images and document contents are not sent to Sentry as part of normal operation.

6. CDN scripts and on-device AI models
Some tools load libraries or models from content delivery networks or our own host so features can run in your browser:
- jsDelivr / similar CDNs — optional codecs and helper libraries (for example image codecs used during compression).
- face-api.js models — Photo Checker downloads face-detection models when you open that tool; inference runs locally in your browser.
- Self-hosted models — AI Upscaler and Remove Background use models served from our site and cached in your browser after first use.
Downloading a library or model is not the same as uploading your files. Your photos and PDFs are still processed on-device; only the tool code/models are fetched over the network.
7. Local storage
We may store compression settings and preference flags in your browser’s local storage so NexusCompress remembers your choices. This data does not leave your device except as described above for analytics, advertising, and error monitoring.
8. Service worker (offline caching)
We may cache parts of the application shell in your browser for faster loading. No personal images are intentionally stored in the service worker cache. Full offline use still depends on whether required codecs or AI models have already been downloaded.
9. Children’s privacy
NexusCompress is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
